Public beta
Ferry is made by one person.
Ferry is made by one developer who uses both a MacBook and a Windows PC. Moving lots of large files like videos and photos between them was always a pain, so Ferry started as a free-time project: opening a Mac drive on Windows should just work, and it shouldn’t cost a fortune.
There is no company and no investors behind Ferry, just me. During the public beta, the best way to help is to tell me what doesn’t work.
Report a problem
In Ferry Settings, go to Help → Report a problem…, describe what happened and click Send. Ferry adds its versions, settings and log, so I can see what went wrong. Nothing is sent before you click Send (see the Privacy Policy).
Especially useful: a drive that doesn’t mount, a copy that fails or freezes, and anything that looks different on the Mac afterwards.
Other ways to help
- Tell a friend who is stuck with a Mac drive on a Windows PC.
- Try Ferry with the drives and enclosures you have: each one behaves a little differently.
Thank you.
